EXPOSITOR PROFILE: Craftspeople and Artists

STANDS' CHARACTERISTICS: The stands are standard and built with division walls in “laminated TS" pannels in white, carpeted floor, ceilling in lattice work or "aluminum pergola ", lighting (a 100 watts light bulb in each 3 m 2 of rented area), one 110 V source of energy and 0,60 X 0,23 cm standard identification sign in black letter stickers.

EVENT AREA:

Grande Pavilhão (Great Pavilion) - The Grande Pavilhão of Expominas is the largest space for Fair and Events in Minas Gerais. During the Feira Nacional de Artesanato (National Craft Fair), the Pavilhão receives 1,000 stands with craftspeople from all Brazilian states and representatives from other countries. This space offers comfort and security to all expositors and the 180 thousand visitors. Restaurants, restrooms, air conditioning, direction signs, ramps and nursery are available.

Espaço Especial (Special Area) - The Institute Centro CAPE created a special area attending to requests from thousands of shopkeepers that annually participate in the Feira Nacional de Artesanato. This new area will house 100 stands. Respecting the roots of Brazilian cultural identity, this new area receives craftspeople whose craftwork presents a differential design and are thus competitive in national and international markets. The expositors of Espaço Especial will need to have their work approved by a special committee.

Espaço Ouro (Golden Area): Brazil / Japan - The “100 years anniversary of Japanese Immigration to Brazil ” will be the theme of this year's Feira Nacional de Artesanato. The Espaço Ouro will be the stage of a true celebration of friendship between the two cultures which although very different from one another, have been walking hand in hand for a century. Crafts, workshops, lectures, gastronomy, among other activities will compose this environment.

Espaço Meu Primeiro Evento (My First Event Area) - The Feira Nacional de Artesanato will stimulate the participation of craftspeople of all Brazilian states that will participate in the event for the very first time.
